Detailed Overview

The summer is time for holiday and fun for students. But they can also use it to learn something new, interesting and useful. HRC Culinary Academy starts a special summer culinary school for teens between 9 and 18 years old.

Every day from Monday to Friday, they will cook together with the best chefs in the Academy. The participants will get personal attention and guidelines on how to prepare different kinds of meals, they will experience the process of preparing, cooking and serving the food.

Here is the programme of the summer culinary school:

09:30 – 10:00 – Breakfast

10:00 – 12:00 – Culinary adventures in the kitchen

12:30 – 13:30 – Lunch with the main chef

13:30 – 15:00 – Culinary adventures in the kitchen

15:00 – 15:30 – Afternoon snack

15:30 – 16:30 – Culinary adventures in the kitchen

The summer culinary school will show the teenagers that cooking is fun and interesting. It could be also the first step in their future career in Culinary Arts. The school will be held in August 2022. The price for participation is 450 BGN/per week. One-day participation is also possible for the price of 90 BGN.

Every student will get a certificate at the end of the course.

Day one: Tour in Italy

  • Breakfast – Seasonal Fritata
  • Lunch – Fresh pasta /self-made/ with herbs pesto
  • Snack – Orange cocoa tiramisu / no coffee/

Day two: Oriental dream – Morocco

  • Breakfast – Msemmen – Moroccan crepes with fresh and dry fruits
  • Lunch – Beef Tagine
  • Snack – Orange cous cous cake

Day three: Classic Wednesday – France

  • Breakfast – French Toast with fruits and vanilla sauce. The Brioche bread for the toast will be prepared from the previous day.
  • Lunch – Chicken a la Reine with garlic crushed potatoes
  • Snack – Profiteroles with vanilla cream and chocolate sauce

Day four: Southern States Cajun cooking

  • Breakfast – Corn bread with spiced cream /not hot/
  • Lunch – Cajun chicken with Jambalaya and steamed rice
  • Snack – Banana bread and Banana foster

Day five: Street Food Friday

  • Breakfast – Balloon bread with honey and roasted sesame
  • Lunch – Prepare your wrap – incl. variety of flat bread and toppings.
  • Snack – Frozen Yogurt cones
