Program Details

Designed specifically for students from the Philippines, the International Dual Degree in Culinary Arts is a collaborative initiative between HRC Culinary Academy (located in Bulgaria, Europe) and the Apicius Institute (Philippines).

This unique program allows students to undergo a year of study in the Philippines, followed by six months of advanced culinary training at the HRC Academy campus. Subsequently, students embark on a one-year paid internship at a luxury hotel/restaurant in the USA, providing a comprehensive and diverse culinary education across three continents.

Course Disciplines

First semester on Apicius campus in the Philippines:

In the initial six months, students are required to undergo culinary training with Apicius to prepare for subsequent studies in Europe. This culinary program encompasses the foundational aspects of Cookery NCII & Bread & Pastry Production NCII as per the TESDA competency-based program. Students will gain proficiency in basic kitchen operations, explore the history of major cuisines, acquire cooking techniques, and understand health and safety procedures.
