Vladi Todorov – U.S. Beef Ambassador.

Vladimir Todorov, alumni of the HRC Culinary Academy, was invited from the U.S. Meat Export Federation for a week long educational trip to Colorado, United States.

Vladimir Todorov, alumni of the HRC Culinary Academy, was invited from the U.S. Meat Export Federation for a week long educational trip to Colorado, United States. Together with Vladimir, chefs and food managers from Poland, Finland, Germany, Italy, France, Holland and Czech republic took part in in the workshop.

The aim of the visit was to educate the participants with ranches and producers of American beef and to encourage them to become „U.S. Beef Ambassadors”. The “U.S. Beef Ambassadors”tittle is given tocertify the knowledge and experience gained. The role of the Ambassadors when they come in their countries is to present the benefits, qualities and the different ways of cooking the us beef.

Except visiting ranches in Colorado, Vladimir took part in a specialised course on how to prepare U.S. beef, conducted by USMEF Chef Jay McCarthy at the Cook Street School of Culinary Arts in Denver. The participants in the educational mission, visited also targeted restaurants in Denver offering a variety of menu concepts with U.S. beef, as well as retail outlets.

PS: Vladimir Todorov graduated Culinary Arts Degree programme in the HRC Culinary Academy. He is one of the best youngest professionals in Bulgaria, gained his experience in high quality restaurants and his popularity from different culinary competitions. Currently, he is working at Bistrellor estaurant Sofia.
