Transform a Childhood Memory into a Culinary Creation and Win a €2000 Scholarship

What would your favorite childhood memory look like if you served it on a plate?

That is the challenge behind this year’s HRC Culinary Academy Scholarship Competition. The theme, “Childhood Reimagined,” invites aspiring young chefs to revisit the flavors, aromas, and dishes that shaped their earliest food memories and transform them into a creative culinary concept that reflects their personal style and vision.

This year’s challenge is officially launched by Raya Wouters, winner of the previous HRC Culinary Academy Scholarship Competition and a student from our March intake. Having successfully turned her passion into the next step of her professional journey, Raya now passes the torch to the next generation of culinary talent.

The winner of the competition will receive a €2000 scholarship towards the HRC Culinary Arts Program or for the Bachelor’s Degree in Food and Culinary Management, providing an opportunity to develop professional skills in an international learning environment and take the first step toward a career in the culinary industry.

To participate, applicants must be enrolled or in the process of enrolling in the Culinary Arts Program or in our Bachelor program. Candidates are required to submit a video in English presenting their dish inspired by the theme and explaining why they would like to study at HRC Culinary Academy.
