The Culinary Festival "Bulgaria welcomes the flavors of the world" started on the 12th of May in Stara Zagora and went through the cities of Burgas, Plovdiv, Veliko Tarnovo, Ruse and Varna. The last stop of this culinary journey was Sofia on the 28th of May.
The grand finale of the festival brought together the Culinary Ambassadors from all parts of Bulgaria, Chefs from around the world and food lovers and gastronomes. Official guests of the event were the Minister of Tourism Nikolina Angelkova, diplomats from Hungary, India, Azerbaijan, Romania, Denmark, Poland, Great Britain, Israel and the United States.
We would like to thank the enthusiastic gastronomes from all over the country who took part in the competition, shared with us their family recipes and allowed us to taste the flavors of their region. All of them, who joined us during the Culinary Festival and brought their dishes had put a lot of effort, enthusiasm and love for which we thank them and we are proud to announce the names of the Culinary Ambassadors:

Elka Pumpalovi - Baked Pork Knuckle with Red Onions and Porcini Mushrooms - culinary ambassador for the city of Sofia.
After a very fierce competition, the jury of Chefs from HRC Culinary Academy and the Bulgarian Association of Professional Chefs chose the Culinary Ambassador of Bulgaria - Desislava Voynikova from Plovdiv. Desislava won the hearts of the jury with a unique family recipe for Stuffed Linden Leaves.
