Our First Bulgarian-Language Pastry and Bakery Course
28/09/2026
For the first time, HRC Culinary Academy will offer its Professional Pastry & Bakery Program entirely in Bulgarian. The new group starts on 1 March 2027 in Sofia, with places limited to 15 participants. The program has previously been taught in English. Now, aspiring pastry professionals can take the same seven-week course in Bulgarian, with both theory and practical training delivered in their own language. No English proficiency is required for the new group.
What will participants learn?
Seven weeks in the kitchen will take participants from the fundamentals of pastry and bakery to the details that bring a finished dessert together. Each topic builds on the last, giving them the chance to practise new techniques as their skills grow.
The program covers:
– Bread and baked goods
– Individual desserts, éclairs, tartlets, pies and travel cakes
– Chocolate work, decorations and pâte de fruit
– Cakes and entremets
– Components for restaurant desserts
– Finishing and presentation techniques
This is an intensive professional course that requires commitment and regular attendance. Upon successful completion, participants receive a corporate certificate from HRC Culinary Academy and a Certificate of Vocational Training for part of the profession “Production of Bread, Bakery and Confectionery Products.”
Two languages. The same hands-on program.
Participants can choose the group that suits them best: the English-language group starts on 4 January 2027, while the first Bulgarian-language group starts on 1 March 2027. The curriculum is the same for both.
Applicants must be at least 16 years old, have completed Grade 10 or secondary education, and be able to attend the course regularly. To apply, complete the online application. Our team will then get in touch to share more information and arrange a short online interview. Interviews for the English-language group are held in English.
