HRC Culinary Academy with a golden team at the National Culinary Cup of Bulgaria 2017! Petio Stanishkov, Dicho Dichev and Aneliya Velyova won the Cup - Culinary Team of Bulgaria 2017. They nailed the black box competition with a lot of creativity, well presented and extremely delicious dishes. The theme of the competiotn was Classics and the participants had to prepare a starter with tiger shrimps, Cordon Blue as a main dish and chocolate brownie for dessert. Morover, the most talented high-school students competing in the prestigious National Culinary Cup of Bulgaria 2017, which was held between 20th and 22nd of April in Plovdiv, were awarded with special scholarships, which will give them the chance to study in the best culinary academy in the country. We are happy that we had the opportunity to meet so many young and enthusiastic culinary talents. The level of all participants was extremely high and the competition was fierce, but here are the names of the winners:
• The winner in the category "The Best Young Chef" and a winner of the scholarship of € 4000 EURfor education in Culinary Arts is Hristo Filiov from the Professional high school of tourism - Sofia
• The trophy in the category "The Best Young Waiter/Waitress" and scholarship of € 2000 for education in F&B Management won Ivan Dimitrov - Professional high school for clothing and catering Rayna Knyaginya– Stara Zagora
• The prize for "The Best Young Pastry Chef" and a scholarship of € 4000 for education in Culinary Arts was awarded to Andrey Kerin from the Professional High School of Tourism Asen Zlatarov Povdiv
• “The Best Young Bartender” and winner of a € 2000 scholarship for education in F&B Management is Nikolai Gospodarski from the Professional High School of Tourism Ivan Vazov – Slanchev Bryag
