Meet HRC Culinary Academy at PAGUR VARNA 2026

From 8 to 10 October 2026, the PAGUR competition will take place at Grifid Hotel Noa in Golden Sands as part of an international culinary festival and forum for young talent in Bulgaria’s tourism and hospitality sectors.

HRC Culinary Academy will once again participate in the event, joining the HORECA SHOW-OFF HUB – a meeting point for young talent and the hospitality industry. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet our team, explore our programs and discover how practical training and international experience can help them build a career in food and hospitality.

Founded in Sofia in 2008, HRC Culinary Academy prepares aspiring professionals through education that connects theory with hands-on learning. Our programs include Culinary Arts, Pastry and Baking, and a bachelor’s degree in food and culinary management, delivered in partnership with the University of Food Technologies in Plovdiv. We also offer specialized courses and masterclasses for those looking to develop specific skills or explore new culinary interests.

Practical training is at the heart of our approach. In our professional kitchens, students learn to work with different ingredients, refine their techniques and develop the organization, teamwork and attention to detail that professional kitchens demand. Alongside culinary skills, they build the confidence and discipline to take on new responsibilities.

International internships extend this learning beyond the academy. Students gain experience in restaurants and hotels across different countries, including Michelin-starred restaurants, where they encounter new cuisines, working methods and service standards. These placements help them become more adaptable, make valuable industry connections and gain a clearer sense of their professional direction.
