“Evolution of Taste” 2026: A Stage for Ideas, Exchange, and a New Culinary Vision

On January 31 and February 1, the Cultural Center “Stara Zagora” once again became a place of inspiration and culinary discovery for the fifth consecutive year.

The national forum “Evolution of Taste,” part of the Chef’s Secrets platform, brought together young talents, culinary school students, and professionals eager to develop their skills through hands-on demonstrations and training sessions led by leading experts, while also exchanging experience and ideas.

This event is more than just a forum – it is a driving force for change in Bulgarian gastronomy. What makes it truly unique is its encouragement of young people to develop their potential, to travel and learn, and then return with new ideas that enrich Bulgarian culinary culture.

As a culinary academy, we proudly support such initiatives and strongly believe in the knowledge exchange and support. Our mission is to encourage good ideas and the sustainable development of the culinary arts in Bulgaria.

During the forum, Chef Stefan Stoev presented a traditional dish, demonstrating how classic recipes can be transformed and presented in a modern way through innovative techniques.

“Evolution of Taste” is more than a forum – it is a stage for unity, continuity, and support of meaningful ideas, contributing to the growth of gastronomy in Bulgaria. It is a place where new friendships and partnerships are formed, where everyone stands equal, and where personal ambitions merge into a shared vision.
