Each year, the Academy awards a €2000 scholarship to one Culinary Arts student to support their tuition

The new school year at HRC Culinary Academy began with energy, ambition, and a big group of new students ready to step into the world of professional gastronomy. The semester opened with our traditional welcoming ceremony, where the Academy’s Director and chef instructors addressed the students, sharing inspiration and advice for the journey ahead.
One of the highlights of the event was the announcement of the annual HRC Scholarship. Each year, the Academy awards a €2000 scholarship to one Culinary Arts student to support their tuition and recognize creativity, skill, and passion. This year, the competition challenged participants with the theme: “Cook eggs in an unexpected way.”
The scholarship was awarded to Irina Dimitrova, who captivated the instructors with both her originality and her confident presence. Irina chose to transform the theme into a playful dessert that carried personal meaning. Inspired by her childhood love of Kinder chocolate eggs, she created a sweet “egg” made of a white chocolate shell, filled with lemon curd and meringue, and finished with buttery crumbs for texture.
We are proud and happy to support young, ambitious people in pursuing their culinary dreams, and this scholarship is one way we help them take their first steps. We warmly congratulate Irina on receiving this year’s HRC Scholarship and wish her every success as she begins her studies. Her culinary journey is only just starting, and we look forward to seeing her talent grow in the kitchens of HRC.
