HRC Academy at the Bulgarian Culinary Cup'2012A creative chocolate sculpture and a chocolate tear presented the Academy team in the Pastry section of the National competition
For second consecutive year HRC Academy participated in the national event of the Bulgarian Professional Cooks Association. The Academy was represented by our chef instructor Eduardo Cortes and our 3rd semester student Victor Svetoslavov, who designed a chocolate sculpture of 1.10 meters in the first stage of the competition. They presented also chocolate bonbons, petit choux and completed the last stage of the competition with a Chocolate Tear dessert. The participation of the HRC Academy was supported by the Bulgarian branch of Puratos who provided the Belgium chocolate for the team training and presence at the National Cup.
More than 60 participants took part in the competition this year in the different categories for professionals and students. The HRC Academy student Atanas Atanasov got the first prize in salmon filleting completing his task in 22 sec.
