Happy New Year!
How We Wrapped Up the Year and Kickstart the New One
As you already know, after the announcement of the second partial lockdown, the restaurants closed their doors to guests, and the students switched to distance learning again.
For the HRC Culinary Academy, this means empty kitchens and wasted culinary talent. However, with your support, once again we managed to do something good in these difficult times.
Thanks to the generosity of donors and the enthusiasm of our instructors and talented students, we were able to feed over 2,000 people in December. The delicious meals of our volunteers reached the first line medical professionals at the Center for Emergency Medical Care in Sofia, as well a number of public hospitals. Friends and partners of the Academy supported our initiative, for which we truly thank them.
And just before the holidays, our deliveries were accompanied by wonderful greeting cards from 2nd B class from 119 Secondary School with class teacher Mrs. Adriana Apostolova. We thank the sweet kids and wish them healthy and happy year ahead!
From 11.01 we continue to prepare charity for the medics and the staff of the municipal hospitals. If you haven’t done your first good deed this year, you still have a chance to contribute with a food donation.
HRC CULINARY ACADEMY FOUNDATION
We hope that this initiative brings smiles and delicious support to the exhausted medical frontliners who tirelessly continue to fight against the invisible enemy. We believe that the situation will soon improve, and this year will be more normal than the previous one.
We wish you good health and many culinary adventures in 2021!
