Easter Buns with a Cause at HRC Culinary Academy

On April 15, HRC Culinary Academy hosted an inspiring workshop titled “Easter Buns with a Cause” — an event that blended delicious flavors with meaningful purpose and gave children in need the chance to experience the magic of culinary arts.

On this special day, our Academy was filled with the aroma of freshly baked Easter buns, the sound of children’s laughter, and the genuine excitement that comes with new experiences. The hearts of all participants were united by a common goal — to create unforgettable memories for children who need support, care, and inspiration the most.

Thanks to our partnership with the BCause Foundation, which played a leading role in driving the initiative and served as a valuable bridge between all parties, we were able to offer a true celebration to 7 children from the “Posoka” Center in the Orlandovtsi district, managed by KONKORDIA Bulgaria Foundation. These children come from socially vulnerable families, facing daily challenges such as the risk of dropping out of school or lack of stable family support. For them, this day was not only an opportunity to learn new culinary skills but also a powerful expression of attention, love, and personal care — things that are truly priceless.

The initiative was also joined by representatives from Sofia Stars — a company awarded the Bronze Badge at the “Workplace Giving Annual Awards” for 2024 in the “Responsible Company – Responsible Employees” category. They generously contributed not only their time but also their hearts, actively participating in the Easter bun workshop alongside the children. In addition, to celebrate the upcoming Children’s Day, they made a special gift — the organization of a cooking class on making homemade ice cream, which will bring even more joy and excitement to the young participants.
