Culinary Trail Demonstration & Education Centre Opens in Novo Mesto

Within the framework of the Culinary Trail of the Ethnic and Local Cuisine in the Danube Region project, the Culinary Trail Demonstration and Educational Centre in Novo Mesto, Slovenia, was officially opened on the 18^th of November 2025. This is an important milestone for the project and a strong step towards preserving and promoting local food traditions through education and collaboration. We congratulate our partners on this achievement and wish them great success in the work ahead.

HRC Culinary Academy has been actively involved in the development of the centre from an early stage. In June 2024, HRC representatives visited the site in Novo Mesto while the centre was still under construction. During the visit, we inspected the location and advised our leading partner on the functional arrangement of the kitchen equipment and training spaces.

Today, the centre is fully completed and ready to welcome professionals, learners, and communities. It is designed as a place where tradition meets modern culinary approaches, and where intercultural dialogue can grow through food, knowledge, and shared experiences.
