Cooking for the community!
03/04/2020
Dear post reader! We hope to find you in good mood and positive thoughts!
As the Corona development is now seriously impacting not only businesses but individuals, we are trying to be as supportive as possible and spread some hearty, tasty goodness together with US4BG Foundation and U.S. Embassy Sofia!
We deliver hot meals for the people accommodated in the Center for Crisis Accommodation for Homeless People in Sofia Bulgaria.
Also, with the help of Sofia Municipality our food reaches out the doctors and the staff in various hospitals in the city!
Serving a hot nutritious meal to someone who lives on the streets not only warms their tummies and hearts but also gives them the feel of protection and the knowledge that someone cares for them! With our cause we’d like the people to enjoy something that many of us take for granted – the pleasure of having someone who cares.
We are lucky enough to have young and proactive volunteers who give their hearts for such a noble cause. Our Talented students – volunteers from Bulgaria, Turkey, Poland, Croatia and India, have the energy and expertise to make it reality.
This FOOD and SOUL INITIATIVE is possible with the financial support of the Foundation US4BG and U.S. Embassy Sofia.
However, our resources are as limited as they could be and if we’d like to continue with such tempo, we are going to be needing to secure some more funds for food products for the second half of April.
Currently we are able to supply all the sanitary and safety equipment that’s needed for the whole process.
Donations from various companies, help from local sponsors and fundraising campaigns can enable the charity to grow and we encourage everyone to help!
We kindly ask you, that if you are in a position to help and want to join us in that initiative to kindly send a donation to:
