Chef Akio Saito is coming to HRC Culinary Academy to present traditional Japanese cuisine

  • Born in 1985 in Fukuoka Prefecture.
  • Following an impressive career as a master chef of Japanese cuisine at some of the most famous hotels, such as “Grand Hyatt Tokyo” and “Conrad Tokyo”, he is now the owner-chef of the Japanese restaurant “Shichi Jyu Ni Kou”.
  • As a „Japanese Cuisine Goodwill Ambassadors”, appointed by the Japanese government, Mr. Saito has been known for his efforts to show both in his own country and abroad the appeal of traditional Japanese food “WASHOKU”, which is on the UNESCO list of intangible cultural heritage and for his continuous involvement in activities to spread Japanese culinary culture and food.
  • Works as a councilor and occupies important positions at different culinary organizations such as the Japanese Master-chefs Association and the Tokyo school of the famous French culinary academy “Le Cordon Bleu”, where he is a lecturer in the Japanese cooking class.
