Industry Placements

Learning is doing. Therefore, students are given the opportunity to train in real kitchens of luxury hotels or restaurants. Because of the education’s international focus, the Academy believes the two paid industry placements (Culinary Arts Degree) should take place in English speaking countries. Students have the chance to utilize their knowledge and skills and learn how to work in a team with culinary professionals. The academy offers a great number of placements at renowned restaurants and hotels in the UK, Continental Europe, Middle East, South Africa, and most importantly: the United States.

The Internships department at the HRC Academy helps students fully prepare for their international experience with interview workshops, visa assistance, the actual placement search, and local support while abroad.

For our Food & Beverage Management program, 1 mandatory paid internship takes place in the United States. This internship lasts between 6-12 months. Most of our internships take place at 5 star luxury hotels of international hotel groups like Hilton, Hyatt, Starwood.
