“Greening” apprenticeships in the HORECA industry
The ENVIRECA project aims to improve the environmental dimension of vocational education and training (VET) in the HORECA industry (hotels, restaurants, cafes) through the creation and promotion of innovative work-based learning (WBL).
The project unites organizations from 5 different EU countries: Italy, Greece, Bulgaria, Spain and Sweden.
By developing a modular curriculum structure and educational resources for HORECA’s WBL (work-based learning) programme, ENVIRECA aims to update apprenticeship schemes by incorporating green skills and competencies.
ENVIRECA is a project funded by the European Erasmus + program with a duration of 30 months, from September 2018 to February 2021.
