HRC Culinary Academy has just finished building a state-of-the-art facility in downtown Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. Our world-class facilities are equipped with seven kitchen labs on our 2.500 m2 premises. The Chocolate Atelier, bakery kitchen, hot kitchen, pastry lab, Research & Development kitchen and prep kitchens allow the students to master their practical skills. Our kitchen training labs are stocked with the finest kitchen training equipment. The hot kitchen lab is equipped with both classic French cast iron ranges and induction burners, to expose students to a wide range of preferred cooking methods found around the world.
The new facility provides an expansive lay out with spacious and light rooms. If focuses on the exchange of knowledge, and encourages innovation to create the best possibly day-to-day educational experience for the student.
Our cooking studio and demo restaurant also offer a wide range of possibilities for special trainings, such as beverage and mixology classes. The cooking studio is also utilized for classes for home cooks and a variety of special events.
The country's biggest culinary library, a multi media lab and our didactical wine cellar will encourage students to gain knowledge about food, beverages and various hospitality subjects. The 100-seat demo theater compliments it all: the stage for some of the best chefs worldwide.
Degree students will also gain real-world, hands-on experience training and working at our Restaurant Talents, a gastronomic restaurant open to the public and located on the main NDK square in the heart of the city.
