European Day of Healthy Food and Cooking with Children

For a 5th consecutive year HRC Culinary Academy takes part of the European day of healthy food and cooking with children, organized by Euro-Toques Bulgaria and European Commission Representation in Bulgaria
Nearly 500 students aged 7-12 from private and public schools, as well as from specialized schools for disabled children were preparing healthy food together with chefs, popular TV hosts and HRC Academy students. The initiative aims to encourage children pick and cook a well-balanced menu.
“Our initiative mostly aims to acquaint children with healthy food and encourage them to look for it", says Joro Ivanov, president of Euro-Toques Bulgaria and vice president of Euro-Toques International. ”At present, the market is flooded by thousands of products. Producers don’t usually offer product tasting. It’s important that they give a presentation on their products, how they are produced, why they should be consumed and why they are worth the price. Therefore, our initiative aims to spark a discussion and present the right technologies…”
