The instruction language at the Culinary Academy is English. Depending on the applicants’ current knowledge of the English language, they will be encouraged to take English classes prior to starting their studies at the academy. English classes start around mid September of each year; however, depending on the applicant’s current knowledge of the English language and availability of classes, they may be requested to start English classes in other months.
English classes are taught in groups of approximately 15 students for 5 hours per day, 5 days a week. The classes are provided by International Univeristy College and cost € 398 per semester. During the English language semester, students will have the opportunity to work part time at local hotels and restaurants to earn money and gain additional experience.
