Coming this summer – “Cook with the Chefs” in the Lord of the Chefs kitchens at the HRC Culinary Academy. Indulge your curiosity a few days at a time and sign up to “Cook with the Chefs” courses. Learn about  Italian, French or New Bulgarian cuisine or entice yourself with a course in wine and beverages or fine dining and coffee.

All courses are a combination of demonstrations in our Demo theatre, and actual cooking by the student in our kitchen laboratories.

Cook with the Chefs: Italian

An introduction to the principles of planning, preparation, picture for italian course.jpgand presentation of the foods of “La Bella Italia”. The course will emphasize Italian ingredients, traditional and contemporary Italian cuisine, and menu structure and station organization for production. Students will explore trends, flavors, and cooking techniques unique to Italian cuisine and plate presentation. Ready to cook the best risottos, home made pizza and some real fresh pastas? Cook with the Chefs: French                                                 

This course in French Regional Cuisine has been developed for picture for french course.jpgpeople who have a specialized interest in French cuisine and culture. The program provides the opportunity for participants to learn hands-on culinary arts techniques from a professional chef instructor and to discover the cuisine, wine, history and some French language and culture. The program is designed to teach and recognize French culinary arts techniques and cultural acquisition.

Drink with the Chefs: Wines and Beverages                           

The practical, multi-sensory approach to learning offered by the HRC Decanting-wine.jpgAcademy, you will broaden and deepen your understanding of the “beverage” side of the food and beverage equation. An overview of foundation-level wine topics, including history, culture, viticulture, wine making, and regional gastronomy, as appropriate. Through guided exercises, students are introduced to systematic sensory evaluation techniques and vocabulary. Students examine wines and beverages as ingredients in the larger arena of food and beverage pairing. Drink with the Chefs this summer and sign up today..

- Each participant must be properly dressed, namely with comfortable sneakers/closed toe shoes and a white shirt/T-shirt
- Each participant will be provided with a professional cooking apron during the course
- Each participant may be granted a set of professional knives with rental price of BGN 15.00 (excluding a deposit of BGN 50.00)
- Applicants must pay BGN 30.00 non-refundable deposit at the time of registration, and the remaining amount – no later than three days before its start.
